WINDOWS SETUP:
1. Windows XP with SP2 is installed.
2. Change your computer name to "HIS0164" or "STN0150" as per project.
3. All PCs in Cs300 domain must be member of a common workgroup (no domain).
4. Turn off all power saving schemes and screen savers.
5. Turn off all automatic update notofications and security alerts.
6. Turn off windows firewall.
7. Change the DCOM setting as follows:
1. Run DCOMCNFG and click on component services and then Computers then right click on My computer and go to properties. Go to COM security.
2. In "Edit Limits" of both Access and Launch permissions, make sure user "everyone" has all the permissions checked on.
3. In "Edit Default" of both Access and Launch permissions, include the user "everyone" and check on all permissions. Apply and OK, close the window.
8. Chnage the administrative tools -> Local windows security Policy as follows:
1. Go to "local security settings" and then "local policies" and then "security options".
2. In the right side window, Enable the permissions "Network access: Let everyone permission apply to anonymous users".
3. In the "Network access: sharing and security model for local accounts" choose "Classic - local users authenticate as themselves"
9. Restart the PC.
VNETIP AND VNETIPOPEN INSTALLATION:
1. Install the VNETIP card in PCI-32 bit slot with DIP switches properly set.
2. After turning PC on, the autonmatic detection window will popup and ask for driver installation of newly found hardware.
3. Install the VNET adapter hardware NIC driver using this popup and point to its location in CS3000 software media CD-ROM "CENTUM\COMDRV\NIC".
4. After completeing this installtion, another popup will appear. Please cancel all subsequent found new hardware wizards.
5. Next open windows explorer and go to the location in the CS3000 software media and run this file "centum\comdrv\setup.exe"
6. After succesful installation, Next run this file "centum\COMDRVOPN\setup.exe".
7. After successful installation, open your network connections window. Disable your ethernet controller if not used. (Recommended)
8. Right click on the connection name having device name of "Yokogawa VNet/VLNet Adapter" and go to properties.
9. Assign 172.16.1.(station no.) as IP address and 255.255.0.0 as subnet mask. No other entry to be filled.
Go to advanced tab and click on "Settings" and turn off the windows firewall. Save and close and change change the connection name as "VNETIP".
10. Right click on the connection name having device name of "vnet/ip open communication driver (BUS2)" and go to properties.
11. Assign 192.168.(128+domain no.).(129+station no.) as IP address and 255.255.255.0 as subnet mask. No other entry to be filled. Save and close and change change the name
connection as "VNETIPOpen".
12. In the Network Connections, go to Advanced menu and click on "Advanced Settings". In adapters and bindings tab, make sure ventipopen is at the top
and below it is the connection vnetip.
13. Ping other PC from this PC. Ping all IP addresses of this PC from any other station in the domain and make sure all are responding to make sure
dip switches corresponds to VNet IP address.
14. Restart the PC.
ENG/HIS (CS3000) INSTALLATION:
1. Login as Administrator.
2. Insert the Keycode floppy in the PC.
3. Run the CS3000 installation CD.
4. Enter the keycode ID when asked.
5. Install to default location.
6. Enter HIS0164 as equalizing or reference database station during installation.
7. Proceed as required.
8. Install XML parser if prompted.
9. After successful installation, restart the PC and login as CENTUM with CENTUM password.
10. Turn off all power saving schemes and screen savers. (Add administrator group to user Centum if required)
12. check Auto Hide for the startup bar and uncheck all on top boxes in the start bar properties.
13. Run Start->programs->Yokogawa Centum->HIS Utility and check Startup (for centum) box. Also check Auto logon to window and enter Centum username and password. Save and close and login again.
14. In case of HIS, set the Desktop environment in HIS utility as Centum Deskktop too.
15. Perform common section and then HIS download to this station.
